October 2016 | Josiah Hood
Josiah Hood grew up in Nebraska and earned his B.S. in Finance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2015. Shortly after graduation, he moved to Tucson. Even though he traded the Great Plains for desert and mountains, he feels right at home.
Josiah is a Portfolio Management Assistant with BMO Private Bank, where he assists in providing customized investment management and advisory solutions for high net worth individuals, families, and organizations, as part of an overall personal wealth management strategy. Each client’s story is unique. He enjoys interacting with clients and getting a better understanding of their respective situations.
With Tucson Young Professionals, Josiah is a dedicated Board Member and Co-Chair of the Professional Development Committee. He’s excited about the TYP Mentorship Program – a new opportunity for members – and always values hearing and interacting with Tucson influencers at CEO Roundtable.
Outside of work and studying for CFA exams, Josiah can be found traveling, staying active, and dancing salsa. Tucson is something special. Josiah looks to continue building relationships and making a positive impact within the community.
