Tucson Young Professionals emerged from TREO’s Economic Blueprint that was unveiled in 2007. Conversations with Tucson’s business community and young professionals often turn to the need for a strong presence and base for young professionals -- the so-called 20-30s. Businesses find it hard to recruit and retain talent because of a perception that Southern Arizona cannot meet their needs for social, cultural and economic opportunities.
Tucson Young Professionals has been created to help young professionals take advantage of Tucson’s many assets and to create the opportunities demanded by young professionals. Tucson Young Professionals will promote the needs and aspirations of Tucson's next generation of business and community leaders.
