CactusCats – UA Alumni Champter
CactusCats is the Tucson Chapter of the University of Arizona Alumni Association. CactusCats is a great way for local alumni to stay connected. Chapter events include game watching parties, networking mixers & community service events.
Tucson Association of REALTORS: Young Professional Network
The Tucson Association of REALTORS® Young Professionals Network helps young real estate professionals excel in their careers by giving them the tools and encouragement to become involved in four core areas, REALTOR® associations, the real estate industry, with peers and in the community.
United Way Young Leaders Society
The United Way Young Leaders Society is an organization of passionate young professionals who are actively seeking ways to Connect, Serve & Lead to make a positive and lasting impact throughout our community. This unique and dynamic group offers its members many ways to become involved in making a difference in people’s lives in Tucson and Southern Arizona.
Ad2 Tucson is an organization made up of like-minded individuals and professionals ages 21 to 32 interested in the fields of advertising, marketing and communications.
Urban Land Institute: Young Leaders Group
The Urban Land Institute (ULI) is the preeminent, multidisciplinary international real estate organization. ULI facilitates an open exchange of ideas, information, and experience among local, national, and international industry leaders and policy makers dedicated to creating better places.
The Pima County Bar Association Young Lawyers
The Pima County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division (YLD) is a group of attorneys who have been in practice for less than 5 years and/or are under the age of 36. By joining the Pima County Bar Association attorneys are automatically a member of the YLD at no additional cost. In addition to membership in YLD, PCBA membership affords opportunities for networking, professional growth and a myriad of community service programs in which one can participate.
YESnet is a support network for Raytheon employees who have less than
five years of work experience. Our functions are to provide new hire
outreach programs, program contacts, speakers, social events, and
communication with upper management.
Startup Tucson is working to grow a strong, vibrant startup ecosystem of companies, entrepreneurs, and talent in Tucson. Inspired by the robust scenes in cities such as Silcon Valley, Boulder and Austin, we are helping to spur economic growth by organizing educational events like hackathons, Startup Weekend events and Lean LaunchPad workshops, as well as networking events like Startup Drinks and Co-Founder Speed Dating. Tucson Social Society (TSS) is a fusion of art and entertainment like never before. Feeding the palate of every taste, TSS gives you access to everything that makes the expanding and cultural diversity of the Tucson community so exciting. TSS is a dedicated outlet designed to promote community awareness in a fresh and elicit wayTSS will be showcasing all the diversity brewing in Tucson, from promoting performance programming to creating events that will encourage community and economic development and providing cultural enrichment to the population. We are dedicated to devolping awareness and appreciation for the work of local businesses, artists and musicians. TSS is the avenue to provide increased opportunities for Tucson commerce and artists to display, or perform their work while being as engaging, innovative, and entertaining as possible through featured events.
LeadLocal delivers leadership coaching and professional development experiences for young professionals and high potential students who have the drive to grow and the passion to contribute.
Learning by doing is the way we gain mastery. From babies’ first steps to the 10,000-hour rule, expertise is gained through experience. At LeadLocal experiential learning is project-based. Young professionals (project leads) and students (interns) consult for local nonprofit organizations and small businesses in our community who are selected through a grants process. We work closely with these organizations to scope impactful and manageable consulting projects that provide them with real solutions and provide our project leads and interns with ample experience.
