TYP Professional Member of the Month

  • January 2015 Member of the Month – Aimee Dolmseth

Aimee Dolmseth grew up in Seattle, Washington and in a small town in Montana called Sidney. She attributes the fact that she is able to mix well with a wide variety of individuals, to growing up in two very different places.

Aimee obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. While the beautiful snow covered mountains made for great scenery and snowboarding made for fun winter activity, after spending seven years in nine month long winters, Aimee decided it was time to move to a warm weather state. After researching many eligible places to move, she made Tucson her top pick. Her great job opportunity came secondary, but luckily it came quickly, allowing her to make the move to The Old Pueblo. Aimee works as the Office Manager of a local telecommunications company specializing in automated appointment reminders called Callpointe.

Now that she is settled in Tucson and is working for an excellent company, Aimee’s goal is to continue to grow both personally and professionally. In January, she will be starting her Master in Business Administration program at the Eller College of Management. She has also made some active strides to submerse herself in the Tucson Community through volunteer and networking efforts with Tucson Young Professionals. Aimee currently sits on the board for TYP and chairs our Philanthropy Committee.

These first two years in Tucson have been an awesome ride for Aimee and she can’t wait to see what experiences lie ahead here in the years to come. She is excited to continue contributing in positive ways to our great city.    unnamed
