IMG_2124I grew up in Los Angeles and came out to Tucson in 2008 to attend the University of Arizona on a full athletic scholarship as a member of the football team. I completed my undergraduate studies in Political Science in May of 2012, and because I was fortunante enough to have an extra year of football eligibility, I started my MA that summer in International Security. I finished my fifth and final season with the football team in December of 2012, defeating University of Nevada in the Gildan New Mexico Bowl. I was team captain for both the 2011 and 2012 seasons, earning awards from both the University of Arizona and the PAC 12 Conference for my performance on the field, in the classroom, and in the community. I completed my graduate studies earlier this year and jumped immediately into the restaurant business as owner and operator of the Pizza Studio franchise here in Tucson.

As a former student-athlete for the University of Arizona, I received so much support from the community that I felt bringing a business venture like the Pizza Studio to Tucson would be a great way to give back. Since opening earlier this month, our location at Park Ave & Speedway Blvd has been a big hit and I am very excited for our second location to open in November at Grant Rd & Tanque Verde.
